I hate what has become of this franchise. Both Sean and Victor are nothing but old, greedy assholes and their childish fit tore the I.P. rights in half when it was unnecessary.

And now we are getting some BS Crystal Lake tv show that nobody care about.
Rumors of movies have persisted for years and yet nothing ever comes of it.

IMO A legacy sequel is the right play here. Set 20 years after the events of FvJ. They should go the Halloween route with a trilogy. Bring back some Legacy characters, finally introduce Jason's father Elias, and deliver the ultimate Jason story before ending him for good.

Casting I would like to see:

Kane Hodder as Jason (if not then Derek Mears)

Thom Matthews as Tommy Jarvis

Jason Ritter & Monica Kenna cameos (Killed off early)

Amy Steel as Jenny Field (even if its only a cameo)
